"Seraphina Vines" is a direct reproduction of a chintz from a quilt square believed to be printed around the time of the Centennial Celebrations of the United States independence, in the 1870s. The original pieces are extremely close to prints from the 1770s. Though the colorway of the original is very much 19th century, we have adjusted the colors to be suitable for 1770s-1780s.

Our reproduction batiste is tightly woven, slightly sheer, and has a wonderful drape with a smooth buttery texture. This fabric would be suitable for gowns, children's clothing, petticoats and drapey home furnishings.

This fabric is a certified organic textile and is sold by the yard. VFG Fabrics are limited quantities, but may be restocked throughout the year.
