Virgil's Fine Goods Exclusive Reproduction Fabric on 100% Linen in Indigo & White

We have been looking for the perfect linen check, and had to resort to producing it ourselves!

Yarn dyed checked linens like this one were very popular for aprons, linings, and shirts throughout the 18th & 19th centuries. Though this check is documented to 1771, from a swatch page of other indigo checks, it would be suitable for usage many decades before and after.

Our fabric is an durable yet light fabric; perfect for any application. This fabric would be suitable for aprons, shirts, shifts, children's clothing, petticoats and lightly used home furnishings, napkins, etc.


This fabric is a certified organic textile and is sold by the yard. VFG Fabrics are limited quantities, but may be restocked throughout the year.
