Jasmine Hair Oil || 1772 Toilet de Flora
Jasmine Hair Oil || 1772 Toilet de Flora
Hair oils have been used for centuries as a means to clean, preserve, and perfume the hair; typically applied after a wash, which was with a harsh soap. This recipe is directly from the 1772 script of the Toilet de Flora, and LBCC opted to use Jasmine, a very popular fragrance for that time period, in place of "flowers" in the receipt. Vitamin E, commonly found in Almond oil, helps promote growth and protect each strand of the hair.
Very helpful for dry, frizzy, or curly hair.
