**THIS IS NOT A FINISHED CAP**
Size: Average-Medium

18th century caps were an essential accessory to both practically dress ones' head, but to also keep up with the latest fashion. Milliners of the time specialized in making caps quickly, as the styles rapidly changed. Be your own milliner with this cap kit and learn how to roll and finish hems and put together a lovely, single layer cap for yourself or a friend.

Bess features a single layer, handstitched construction technique appropriate for the time period, one ruffle around the face and an adjustable drawstring for fit.

This cap sits best with hair done in a high, but not overly large bun.
