We are excited to include some hand-embroidered pincushions to our offerings made by our very own little apprentice, Anne. She has been hard at work learning how to do backstitches, whip stitches, chain stitches, split stitches, and french knots. Through all of her patience, she has decided to sell some of her practice pieces so she can buy some toys.
Anne's pincushions are completely her own. Designs have been chosen, hand embroidered, sewn, and lovingly stuffed by her own hands. She chose to try out two 18th century flower designs. Each pincushions features her initials and year made on the back. These little pincushions are made from blue linen, embroidered with cotton thread, and stuffed with wool. Choose your design and color embroidered in the drop down menu.
100% of the proceeds of this purchase will go directly to Anne.
These pincushions will have irregularities and lots of "character" as Anne is 4 years old. They are some of her first practice pieces so if you're wanting to capture a young sewist's first stitches, here you go!
